Green Future Development connects people, communities and institutions across Sweden and Ethiopia to create practical environmental projects with lasting impact.
About us
Local action. International cooperation. Long-term change.

Our work
Practical solutions for a healthier planet
Tree planting & reforestation
We aim to support the planting and care of trees that restore landscapes, strengthen ecosystems and benefit future generations.
Environmental protection
We encourage responsible stewardship of land, forests, water and biodiversity through community-led initiatives.
Climate awareness
We share knowledge and create opportunities for people to understand climate change and take part in solutions.
Sustainable communities
We explore practical ideas that connect environmental care with resilient livelihoods and inclusive communities.
Sweden & Ethiopia
Knowledge, partnerships and local experience working together
Environmental impact grows when different strengths are brought together. Knowledge and ideas from Sweden can meet local experience, priorities and leadership in Ethiopia. Organizations, communities, businesses, institutions and volunteers can contribute resources, skills, relationships and practical support while local partners help shape projects that are relevant, respectful and sustainable.
Our goal is to create space for learning, cooperation and responsible action—not to make claims about work that has not yet taken place.
A collaborative approach
- Listen to local knowledge and needs
- Share relevant skills and learning
- Build transparent partnerships
- Coordinate resources responsibly
- Review progress and improve over time
